October 9, 2014 - Student Business Clinic at Strathclyde University - Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship

Mentoring and developing entrepreneurs of the future

The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde has developed a Students Business Clinic for businesses and enterprises to engage with students on a year-long business consultancy project in order to give students real-world experiences.

Cohesion Medical took on six students from Management, Marketing, International Busines, Economics and Finance to help develop specific features of their Business Plan.

Euan Cameron, the Founder and CEO of Cohesion Medical, helped mentor the students as they progressed with their project.

He commented, "I have been impressed with the students from Strathclyde University during this project. They have learned quickly what the real business world is like and how particularly challenging it is within the start-up environment. It has been a learning journey for all of us including myself but I would recommend the Student Business Clinic to other enterprises and business who want to encourage a new future generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs."

Cohesion Medical has since taken on 2 of their students as part-time employees and offered them internships for their summer placements in 2015.
